What To Do If My Tablet Does Not Charge Or Turn On?
In these days of confinement, tablets, mobile phones or computers have become, more than ever, our only means of communicating with our loved ones. Now, having a problem, for example, charging with your tablet implies that you will not be able to talk to your friends, telework or watch that series that you like so much.
But do not worry! Today at Phone Service Center we explain the keys so that, if your tablet does not charge, you can solve it quickly. Keep reading!
Check The Battery And Charger
The first thing you have to do is check the battery operation since it is the most frequent cause. If your tablet is fully downloaded, we charge it and the device does not react, do not worry! Leave it connected for an average of 20 to 30 minutes. In this way, we give enough energy to the tablet so that it can be put into operation.
If the device still doesn’t work, try changing the charger. In many cases, the problem is the charger and not the battery since the chargers, after a long time of use, deteriorate or may have a damaged cable that does not allow electricity to reach well. Please note that it is important that the charger is original, as non-original chargers can eventually lead to battery problems.
Restore To “Factory settings”
If after this the tablet still does not work, you can try to break the cycle of the current. How?
- If you have a Samsung Galaxy Tab: Remove the battery for a few seconds to force a “hard reset”.
- If you have an iPad, Surface Pro, Mi Pad or Media Tab: You will see that the battery is integrated and you cannot remove it. Here you must hold the power button for about 30 seconds to force the “hard reset”.
- Very important: Before restoring your tablet, make a backup so as not to lose your data, since restoring it will delete everything you have on it. If you do not know how to make a backup on Android, we will tell you in this post. If you do not know how to make a backup on iOS, we will tell you in this post
In the event that your tablet is over a year old and the performance of its battery has decreased, we recommend that you change it so that it works as it did on the first day. Keep in mind that batteries have x charge cycles that decrease with use and this makes their durability less.
Select “Ask Every Time You Connect”
This option is only available for Samsung tablets. When you charge a Samsung tablet, the operating system does not notify you. On the other hand, when you want to share data, the device shows you a message indicating if you want to connect the USB device or if you want to charge the battery. Any of the options you choose can be saved as the default connection if you select it.
If you select as a removable drive by default, the tablet will only be configured for file sharing and this is why it will not charge the battery.
How can it be solved?
To solve it you must go to ” Settings “> ” Accessibility “> ” USB connection “.
Here you should check if the setting is selected as default. If so, you must choose the option ” ask every time you connect .”
This will solve the problem.
